Last week I visited Sukkur with my parent and my younger sister.

It was our winter vacations when we started our journey from Karachi and we were heading for Sukkur. It was Tuesday 26/December/2023 when we planned to go to sukkur. We all were very excited because we were visiting sukkur after one year. In Karachi we crossed Pehlwan Goth, Falcon Malir, Malir cantt to get to Karachi Toll Plaza. We exited Karachi and we were heading for Hyderabad via M-9 (Karachi – Hyderabad motorway).

Before the M-9 motorway finished we took M-10 (Northern bypass) where we exited M-9 motorway and were heading for Jamshoro. At Jamshoro bypass we saw people with simple clothing and brick houses so, it looked like more like a village than a city. After Jamshoro, We went to Jamshoro Toll Plaza where we exited Jamshoro and we were heading for Petaro. We head for Petaro Bypass instead of Petaro city. Then, we saw Sann city from above but we didn’t went into the city. It was a small settlement with brick houses but it was a city. Then we crossed Khanot where we saw Sugar mill factories and hence, there must be a sugar mill forest. Therefore, sugar mills are cheap. Then we stepped on Qazi Ahmed Aamri bridge road where we crossed River Indus and also saw crops which were covered with plastic like sheets to protect them from the harsh weather.

Then from Qazi Ahmed Aamri bridge road we took National highway-5 to Sukkur passing through Moro bypass where we stopped for tea at Al Amin restaurant and guest houses šŸ“ and also gave our car a car rest. It was a very big restaurant consisting of play area for children, Outside sitting arrangements where there are Wooden sitting areas, Tables and chairs. Inside was the restaurant and outside also were guest houses where people can relax. We spend about 1½ hours and then, we continued our journey. It took us about 2 hours to reach sukkur passing through Ranipur and Khairpur where we saw a number of dates trees and banana bushes. In Khairpur people were selling almond dates, Handi crafts and blankets.

Then we went to Sukkur bypass where we entered sukkur. In sukkur we crossed the Sukkur Jail, Sukkur barrage bridge road and Lab-e-Mehran and finally reached our destination in Bagh-e-Hayat.
